Text Box: 	The ministry of the State Office, located in Murfreesboro, seeks to facilitate and support all of the ministries of Tennessee Ministries through providing regular communication among congregations, management of the Unified Budget, leadership in ministry development and coordination of TN Ministries with the Church of God in North America.

State Minister—Dwayne Pierce
	Having served the Church of God for thirty-six years as a pastor, Dwayne Pierce brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Tennessee Ministries. He has served congregations as Associate Pastor and Senior Pastor in Tennessee and Florida. Over the years he has been privileged to serve the Church of God as speaker and teacher in camp meetings, youth camps and revivals. 
	He began his service as Area Administrator for Tennessee February 18, 2008. In addition to his responsibilities here, he is active with the National Area Administrators Association and serves as a member of the S.H.A.P.E. Steering Committee. 
	His ministry to the Church of God in Tennessee frequently keeps him on the road as he visits, counsels and encourages pastors and congregations across the state.
	Dwayne’s wife Donna, has not only been a faithful partner in ministry, but served the church significantly as the team captain for the Congregational Ministries Team, and as president of Middle/West Tennessee Women of the Church of God. Meeting at Warner Southern College, they married in 1970. 
	Dwayne and Donna’s daughter, Tina, is married to Shane Jones. They make their home in Greeneville, TN, and are the parents of Dwayne and Donna’s two grandchildren, Brynne and Savana. 
	Their son, Rusty and wife Heather make their home in Fort Meade, FL, along with Dwayne and Donna’s three grandchildren, Shane, Shelby and Eli.

Karen Bailey
	—Administrative Assistant
	Karen joined the State Office staff in August 2005. She is the Children’s Pastor at the Grace Place-Hermitage Church of God.
	Karen and her husband, Bruce, have been married for 26 years. Bruce works for YRC and is the Teaching Leader of the Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) class in Nashville. 
	Karen and Bruce have four children. Their daughter, Laura, has a ministry degree from Mid-America  and is married to Rusty Graves, the Youth Pastor at the Church of God in Exter, California. Oldest son David is studying to be a missionary at Moody Bible Institute. Brian attends MTSU and is  working towards his BS in art education  and Caleb is in the 9th grade.
